Excellence
My desire is to advance in every area of my life. To deliver high qualtiy results one must make choices. Pastor Robb Thomson wrote "rising to another level in life doesn't just happen automatically or by chance" in his book entitled Excellence in the Workplace. Excellence is a state not a destination.
Consistent effort despite obstacles is necessary to maintain excellence. Talent is given but discipline must used to achieve high marks in business and in life. I have learned to continue with the vision and keep positive routines in spite of temporary defeats. What is temporary is subject to change.
A challenging situation can become a rewarding experience but we have to see the solution first. Finish the assignment. The benefits of excellence must be firmly planted in the mind to endure. I overcome because I know the time of recompense is near.
An Attitude of Excellence
We must evaluate our progress and excute changes to reach our full potential consistently. A set mind on the habit or word we need to manifest is the key to an excellent attitude. Our thoughts govern our actions.

Written Statements
Written goals create a vision of the end results. I accomplish more when I write my objectives down. Proverbs 29:18a states "Where there is no revelation(vision)the people cast off restraint...". More self control is possible when we write our goals down.
How will you know when you arrive? Posted expectations are effective to understand location. Either we can increase or we can decrease but the standards must be clearly stated. Studies have found that individuals who had written goals accomplished more over the course of their lives than those who had no written goals.
Words create images. The image of the end result is what causes it to manifest. There must be consistent focus on the end result to finish. Agreement brings closure. Do you know what you are authorized to do? I am writer and a business man. Look at your self on paper via your resume and see if you have operated in your gifts. Understand your strengths and weaknesses.
In our society we honor what is written. I write down my plans daily. Jesus stated"It is written......" in Luke 4:4. Agreement with what is written helps it to be established in our lives.

Focus On Faith
Do you want to reach your full potential? We must go beyond our comfort zones to utilize our gifts and talents completely. This is how capacity is expanded. Do the things you do not want to do to create good habits. It is done by faith until results are seen.
We have been authorized to release our full potential. The outcome is tied to consistent effort. Talent needs patience. God blesses discipline. Pastor Rob Thompson stated"God is not going to transfer wealth from the wicked to the just because they are saved." We must apply ourselves. Proverbs 10:4 states"He becomes poor that who works with a slack and idle hand, but the hand of the diligent makes rich". It takes painful efforts to succeed.
There is pain before birth. Learning to deal with different types of people will develop your faith and your skills. People bring our blessings and our challenges. The key is know the persons authority.
Many times help does come through other people. I can show this to you in the scriptures.
"When the children of Israel cried out to the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer for the children of Israel, who delivered them Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother"Judges 3:9 NKJV
Help is truthful. Lies are harmful. Mentors help push us to our potential. Pain also causes us to maximize.

Unseen Victory
We become what we see. Dr Myles Monroe stated never let what your eyes see determine what your heart believes. Seeing the unseen in necessary to move forward in life.
I have to focus my attention on the unseen when things are at there worst. Situations change by faith. It takes discipline to overcome. According to Mike Litman : "when we don’t have a VISION for our lives, we throw off self-discipline, self-control, and order."
Vision operates through belief. Failures are defeated by the image we allow to live inside us. It is possible to recover but we must change the view we have of ourselves. Success is our right but it must be seized. Our efforts may be progressive.
Everyone does not experience overnight sucess. We could be overwhelmed. Break the job into segments and finish. Become unmovable.
Econonmic foundations are being shaken but those focused will continue to prosper. However, our focus must be on the development and use of authoriy we have been given by the Lord. Our provision is sure when we operate in our authority. To understand authority look at what Jesus said "The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor......"

Expect opposition. I recall Apostle Wilson my Pastor ministering on the 7 Mountains of Influence and he stated "there are giants in areas that the enemy does not want us to possess".
"And they gave the children of Isarel a bad report of the land which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw are men of great stature"Numbers 13:32(NKJV)
There times when I lost to a false giant. I saw the enemy larger than God but he reminded me that Christ was in me and I had to release him to keep my victory. Fear keeps people trapped inside a spiritual cage. The devils allows us to go just so far before he releases fear to bind us like dogs.
You and I have the right to walk on the spirit of fear. God has not given us the spirit of fear(II Timothy 1:7NKJV). Pay attention to images in your mind.
Courage and fear begin as thoughts in the mind. People sense boldness and fear. Chose boldness. The image of boldness must come from the inside.
"For as he thinks in his hear so is he"(Proverbs 23:7aNKJV). We need the Trinity to help us to overcome ungodly thoughts. Through the Holy Spirit we put to death the deeds of our bodies. Jesus broke sins back on the cross:
For our own sake He made Christ(virtually) to be sin Who knew no sin, so thath in and through Him we might become(endued with, viewed as being in and examples of) the righteousness of God(what we ought to be, approved and acceptable with Him, by His goodness)II Cor 5:21 Amplified.
You need to be born again to be in God's family and to have eternal life(Romans 10:9-10). Then you must be in church or set under a man to keep that monkey off your back(Numbers 27:15-17). Revelation is the key to breaking free from sinful habits. Bind devils in the highest name above all names - Jesus.
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name(Philippians 2:9 NKJV)

Concentrate to Success
Did you know that one of the things that helps in a storm is concentration? To go from the mailroom to the board room it takes concentration. I have made it through difficult times by focusing on the habit I wanted to develop. New York business man Mike Litman stated that our income will increase in proportion to our habits.
It takes dilligence to develop good habits. The benefits outweight the cost. I developed a habit of writing my daily expenditures. This keeps me abreast on where my money is going so I can invest it wisely.
Many times our failures result from distractions. We must see the end from the beginning to finish. Our thoughts produce actions. Focus on the results you desire. Be courageoues.
Fear can be rendered powerless. I am authorized to release my potential and dominate my circumstatnces. So are you. The Apostle Paul wrote"And he put all things under his feet and gave Him to be head over all things to the church".Ephesians 1:22 NKJ
